K.F. Downie President & Chief Executive Officer Ken Downie was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. He received his schooling at Lord Byng and the University of British Columbia. He currently lives in West Vancouver with his wife, Mary. Upon the passing of his father, Thomas Downie, founder of the Credit Bureau of Vancouver Limited, he assumed the Presidency which he held until the business was sold in 1998. Retaining the Collection division of the Credit Bureau, now known as CBV Collection Services Ltd., Ken remains President. He is active in the Vancouver business community and various Greater Vancouver charities. He is also involved in the following organizations: Credit Counselling Society of B.C., The Vancouver Club, Vancouver Board of Trade, World Loppet Society (Master), World Presidents’ Organization and the Y.M.C.A.
