R.W. (Bob) Richards Executive Vice-President and C.O.O

A Business Administration major with a minor in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University, Bob began his career in the credit and collection industry in 1984 at a national collection agency, and held the position of Collection Manager for 10 years. In 1993, Bob joined the Credit Bureau of Vancouver (now CBV Collection Services Ltd.) as Regional Vice-President. He was promoted to Senior Vice-President in 1998, and in 2004 was promoted to his current position. Through the purchase of two collection agencies, expansion, debt buying and technological advancements, Bob has grown CBV from a regional company in British Columbia to a National Collection Agency with offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto and Montreal. He is involved with a number of regional and national associations, including the Credit Grantors Association of Vancouver, O.S.C.A. (Ontario Society of Collection Agencies), Debt Buyers Association, and the American Collectors Association.
